(29 x 23 cm.)Title printed in red and black and with engraved vignette, pp.xxviii (Preface & Index)+202 (Extracts of Laws and Trade Marks)+lx(International Guide)+475 (Guide to Merchants and Manufacturers)+184(General Commercial Information)+142(advertisements) Original gilt decorated and lettered green cloth, adverisements to endpapers. The first section of Trade Marks Directory lists manufacturers and illustrated their trade marks with vignettes, all printed in a combination of black and red and occasionally other colours. Sometime most skilfully re-cased, some sections a little tanned, generally in very good condition. The Preface states that "In consequence of the sudden death of the Proprietor of the Trade Marks Directory, it has devolved upon the Executors to place it before the Public". Evidently poor Otto never saw his labour of love to fruition. No other issues or indeed publications of any sort appear by him. Seller Inventory # 51371
