Large hardcover in very good condition, with a clipped dust jacket in good condition. General shelf and handling wear. The jacket shows tanning, creasing, nicks and chips, library ticket residue to spine foot, and the glossy covering is peeling. Black cloth boards have gilt emblem to front, and a red spine label with gilt title and author detail. Light wear and colour loss to board edges and corners, minor tanning and blemishes to pageblock. Within, full colour frontispiece of Shivala Ghat, (Thomas Daniel, 1788) is in fine condition, colours true. Pages are firmly bound, and other than the lightest of tanning to the 'glossy' photographic reproductions at the rear of this volume, content is unmarked. CN.
