Boards slightly sunned at head of both boards, bound in beige linen cloth with gilt jockey/horse on frt board. 351 pp. Bit of age-toning on endpps from dj flaps. Illust with breeding charts, no photos or drawings. Unclipped dj in new mylar shows small chips at extremities, bit of very light soil on white background center portion with title in frame and red old fashioned race horse/jockey on frt panel, solid red rear panel with jockey/horse reversed in white has a 1/2 in closed tear at foot of rear panel, triangular open chip at head of rear panel and 1/2 in chip at head of sunned backstrip. Spine title legible, but barely so. Frt flap states: British Blood Lines is the most comprehensive analysis of the British thoroughbred female lines yet produced. No comparable work has been published since Bruce Lowe's Breeding Racehorses by the Figure System was produced sixty years ago (from 1955).
