About this Item
Small oblong quarto (14 x 25cm) published at 1s 6d. Six steel vignette views all with contemporary colour variously dated 1840-1. Two views with light browning/staining. Publisher's blue printed wrappers with contemporary label of 'J.Smith, Bookseller Stationer, and Sealing Wax Manufacturer, 8 Pool Valley, Brighton.' A scarce item, not normally seen coloured, a second series being issued a year later & this item containing views from both series. The wrappers slighty chipped & marked. Vg. [Ford 251, 350, 752, 1005, 1162 & 116]. Seller Inventory # 12205
