Very good, lightly worn black cloth cover with "Sarah Grubb." in gilt on front cover. Owner bookplate (Friend's school) and small owner sticker. Pages foxed, otherwise good. Sarah Grubb of Sudbury, in Suffolk, was the daughter of Mason and Hannah Lynes, and was born at Wapping, London, in 1773. Her father was by trade a block and mast maker. In the year 1803, she was united in marriage with John Grubb. She died in 1842 at the age of 69 and had been a minister 52 years. (Smith, I:878). Seller Inventory # 034325
