Riley's geometric language spreads to walls as she explores the perception of color and rhythm
Since the early 1980s, British painter Bridget Riley (born 1931) has often moved beyond the canvas to wall paintings, engendering a direct communication between work, viewer and space. This volume focuses on an exhibition of 13 works, adding the historical context of a practice spanning 40 years.
