75 pg. paperback, 8.5" x 5.25". Crease in front cover, previous owner's sticker on inside back cover. "BPW" has been initialed on front free end paper. Poems for Booker T. Washington, Mahalia Jackson, Louis Armstrong, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Wilson was born in Tacoma and became the second Black teacher hired by the Oakland Public School System in 1939 and worked there for 20 years before becoming an author.
