About the Author
Peter Pressman, MD, FACS, is a surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast cancer. After 35 years of private practice in New York, he is now Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Breast Cancer Detection and Treatment Subcommittee of the American Cancer Society, and is currently attenting surgeon at New York Presbyterian, Beth Israel, and Lenox Hill Hospitals.
Yashar Hirshaut, MD, FACP, is a medical oncologist and also specializes in breast cancer. In addition to his private practive in New York, he is an attenting physician at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Beth Israel, and Lenox Hill Hospital and is currently Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Cornell University.
