Breakup is a brutally honest and unusual divorce memoir, written as a journal in real time. Averbach's narrative interweaves his ordeal with his psychotherapy in a deeply- reflective, intimate manner. His concomitant process of transformation gives Breakup a far-reaching significance that is quite compelling.
About the Author: Leo Averbach was born and raised in South Africa. He lived on a kibbutz in Israel for five years before moving to England. In London he was married for twenty years, fathered three children and got divorced. After remarrying he returned to Israel and lived in the Jerusalem hills, where he had his pottery studio. He recently returned to live in England to be close to his grandchildren. He has published a number of articles. BREAKUP is his first book.
