Instead of vague advice, the book walks you through the real steps behind breaking into investment banking, from early finance job preparation to mastering the interviews that determine who gets hired.Readers will learn how Wall Street careers are built from the ground up and how the recruiting pipeline for top investment banks hiring actually works. The book shows how students prepare for investment banking internships, how candidates stand out during investment banking recruitment, and how to build a strong investment banking resume that attracts recruiters.A major focus of the guide is interview preparation. Inside you will find a clear Goldman Sachs interview guide, explanations of common finance interview questions, and strategies for handling difficult investment banking interviews. The technical section also helps readers understand core concepts used in a technical finance interview, including valuation methods, the DCF model explained, EBITDA valuation, and leveraged buyout basics.Beyond interviews, the book explores how networking shapes success in finance. Readers discover how Wall Street networking opens doors to Wall Street jobs, how analysts develop financial modeling skills, and how the analyst role in investment banking serves as a foundation for long-term growth.
