Paperback. James Niemand was the whiz kid. Twenty-five with one of the leading tech start-ups in the country. He could have almost everything he wanted even though wealth and status weren't that important to him.And then he met Iris Page. After a black eye, some flowers, and a date, James knew he wanted this unorthodox woman for himself. He was ready to fight her demons for her and give it all up for this woman. But a scar from the past still threatens the present, and the most significant threat might be one he could not see coming.****Iris Page was tainted, and she bore her scars proudly in the face of adversaries. She had built herself to be the strong independent woman in the public who owed answers to no one. But in private, Iris suffers from anxiety and fears that render her helpless and in pain. Then she met James Niemand. She couldn't understand him. The care, the affection, was a strange thing for her.And then Iris's defenses began to thaw, and she started to believe. Maybe she wasn't permanently damaged. Maybe there was still hope for her.But a page from her past remained open, and the cold hands from her nightmares reached out to rip her from the warm joy of love. This item is printed on demand.
