When Amy G.'s family relocates from sunny Florida to Maryland, everything feels unfamiliar-and overwhelming. Faced with new challenges, Amy G. struggles to manage her emotions and adjust to her new life. Thankfully, her wise grandfather, lovingly called Professor, helps her understand how the brain reacts to stress-and how to calm it down. With gentle guidance and self-awareness, Amy G. learns that bravery isn't about having all the answers, but about facing change with curiosity, courage, and care.

You Are Brave, Amy G. is a compassionate story that helps children recognize emotional struggles and develop healthy tools for resilience, emotional regulation, and positive decision-making.
