Synopsis:

The ‘Class of 64’ Reunion’ invitations have been sent out. Seven, in particular, bear the crossed swords on the envelope flaps, these being the sign of the Brampton Musketeers. These seven girls, all members of Brampton High School, were lovingly nicknamed the Brampton Musketeers by their teachers during those formative school years. A place where strong friendships were forged and promises were made. But school finished, and their lives moved on.
Twenty years later, each of the seven opens the invite and questions what had happened? Also, whether or not they should attend the event.
This story is full of emotion, fear, regret and just maybe, a happy ending - only time will tell.

About the Authors: Robina Brookes is a pseudonym of author Ann Brady. She has chosen to utilise this name due to the content of the story which contains some minor adult content as she feels it is contrary to her previous work of children's picture books and historical romance. Ann has over 35 years writing experience, starting with her success in magazines, editorials, newspapers, educational booklets and on an award winning website. Upon retiring from her professional business Ann took up fictional writing with her first foray into the craft leading to an award winning historical novel. This was followed by a series of eighteen children's picture story books.In recent years, Ann has called upon her past experience as a mentor and teacher to become a recognised writers mentor, working with new and developing authors of all ages worldwide. She has also mentored and published younger writers manuscripts, as she feels that we should all encourage the next generation to take up the pen and become leaders in the writing craft.Apart from her mentoring, Ann has, over the last couple of years begun to gather a large number of followers who find her podcasts about the craft of writing both interesting and encouraging. The Brampton Musketeers is the latest piece of work from Ann, who last year launched the Doyle's Casebook Trilogy - a rewrite of an early book titled Doyle's Casebook.
