Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Hardback. Dust Jacket. 8vo. Original publisher's burgundy cloth, lettered gilt at the spine. PublisherÕs file copy from the archive at Gollancz with their neat stamp 'Archive Copy' on the title page. Including original wraparound band showing a quotation from Emily Hahn, "an accurate account of life as it was there before Pearl Harbour." Very good indeed in very good d/w with slight spotting at spine. Very small number '55' at rear top inside corner of jacket, written by Gollancz on their file copies to note the year of publication.
