The 16 Reynolds Stone wood-engravings existed before the poetry, which was written to 'illustrate' them, "a reversal of the normal procedure". The book was planned by Ruari McLean and "A New Type Designed By Giovanni Mardersteig. Dante Roman And Italic Has Been Used For The First Time In Great Britain." A fine copy of a delightful book.
