pp. [viii, 682]. 3 folding tables, 25 plates engraved by F. SANSOM, after drawings by SYDENHAM EDWARDS. The text is not paginated. Contemporary calf, spine panelled in gilt, rebacked with the original spine relaid, original marbled end-papers and edges of the book-block, slight foxing of the last few plates, overall a very good copy. *VERY SCARCE, COPAC no copy recorded, but 2 locations on WORLD CAT., the Natural History Museum and Bangor. First printed in 1770, a second edition in 1778.
