Complete in 6 volumes. Bound in a full stout chocolate morocco. Raised bands to spine. All edges gilt. Blind-ruled borders to boards with gilt Eton coat of arms to front & rear boards. Eton prize inscription to first blanks. Minor marks to boards. Frontis to each volume and folding document in vol. III. Spine lettering bright. An attractive VG to Near Fine set. 23 cms tall. This is a heavy set and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe. 8vo.

We have been trading in Chiswick for 55 years - come and visit us in our bow-windowed c18th shop. All of our shipments are now tracked. Our Standard service is currently Royal Mail Tracked with FedEx, UPS and Parcelforce for larger parcels; local conditions vary so please be patient with us. Stephen Foster ; Foster Books, 183 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DR. Old and rare books, a good turnover of stock leaning towards Arts subjects. Fine bindings, illustrated, literature. Only 5 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station on the District Line in West London. The Chiswick shop is open Monday to Saturday 10-30 to 17-30 GMT and most Sundays 11 to 5 and earlier at the beginning of the month when the Flower and Antiques Markets are on in front of the shop (by all means call in advance to be sure). We only list a small proportion of the ever changing stock.
