Gray boards with blue lettering has very light wear along edges. Foxing on inside pages. Previous owner's info on fep. two water spots on top page edges. Jacket in mylar has nicks, small tears, and a piece missing on front(2" X2") which affects author's name. A gaudy, bawdy tale of human nature run amuck in politics. In less than three years Tweed stole $30,000.000 from the New York treasury. Jay Gould stood bail for him to the tune of one million dollars. His name has come to be a symbol of corruption in government. (Sound familiar?) Colorful dj is rare! 433 pp.
