She Was Never Really the World's - She Was Always His

A princess of Merta. A blue deity. A love that no palace wall and no royal husband could extinguish. Before Mirabai lifted her voice in her first pada, before she danced barefoot in the temple, before she was called mad, saint, or rebel - she was already His. Born Already His tells her early story from inside the living warmth of the bhakti tradition itself, where every word is an offering and every page breathes with the devotion that made Mirabai immortal.

This is not a distant academic biography. This is a darshan - a sacred seeing. Born Already His enters Mirabai's world with reverence, wonder, and the unshakable conviction that her love for Krishna was the most real thing in any room she ever stood in.

• The royal house of Merta, where Krishna already lived before Mirabai was born to find Him there
• A childhood encounter that sealed her devotion before she could name what devotion meant
• What the sadhus carried - and what the world of bhakti looked like through a young girl's wondering eyes
• The betrothal that was not the real one - and the real one she carried with her into the palanquin
• The Vaishnava tradition honoured from within - not the skeptic's footnote, but the warm, living current of bhakti as it has always understood itself

Her story does not end in tragedy. It ends - it has always ended - in union. In the arms of the Dark One she was born already belonging to.
