About the Author: Mike was born again at 20 years of age. At the age of 30 he answered the call of God to the ministry and began pastoring. He is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX as well as Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, CO. He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Theology from Life Christian University in Lutz, FL. Over the course of the years, Mike has pastored two churches and has served as the Chaplain at the Kyle Correctional Center in Kyle, TX since 1999. In addition, he has held the position of Director of Life Christian Bible Institute Austin/Lockhart since 2006. Mike's call is to teach the Word of God in a way that every believer is able to understand and apply it to their lives. He is especially anointed to teach and lead believers to receive the Baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. His straight-forward explanation makes it easy for believers to receive the "Promise of the Father". He also has a passion for teaching the Kingdom of God with an emphasis on grace and faith. Mike lives with his wife Stephanie in South Central Texas. In addition to his love for the Word of God, Mike has many hobbies that he enjoys. He competes in Cowboy Action Shooting, rides his motorcycle in the Texas hill country with his wife and enjoys serving up authentic Texas BBQ. He also enjoys woodworking when he has the time.
