This VG quality first format book was published in 1912 by Hurst & Company and is 7-5/8" tall with 296 numbered pages of text followed by 18 unnumbered pages of ads. This book--one-piece tan binding with black lettering for the title--has a slight lean, is very clean, free of edge dings and with both lower corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with slight wear and slight fraying; the bottom edges have only a moderate amount of wear. The spine is lightly soiled but the illustration is intact. The front panel illustration is clean and intact. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks and page damage of any type; several pages have stains that are mostly confined to the margins. Both hinges are strong and not damaged in any way; text paper is lightly toned but is very flexible and not at all brittle. The frontis + 3 are present and intact.
