18cm. 16pp, head & tail-piece, decorated capitals. Bound after James Torr's 'Antiquities of York City 1719', possibly indicating the issue year of Darby's catalogue. Contemporary full sprinkled-calf gilt, raised bands, new calf gilt spine label. Joints repaired. Bookplates of Joseph Sedgwick and Winchester College to front endpapers. This precise issue not apparent in ESTC, where two 16pp Darby catalogues are listed. Citation no. T168600 [1717?] looks a stong possibility since the two general notes conform; however the uncontrolled note does not apply since page 8 lists 'A Compleat History of the Turks . to the year 1718.'.
