Chapter One
VIRGINI, the burgeoning eradicator,
dreams haunted by vampires and slayers,
have not yet made my initial conquest.
Decidedly,
I have chosen my first mark ...
SHE
I didn't slay her ...
She was gone when I found her,
but,
overcome with curiosity,
I ...
softly touched her pale, swollen lips
and
smelled her cream rinse-fragrant hair.
LOVING
I love the corpse
that she is
vivid and still
as a masterpiece
more beautiful in death
color slowly
vanishing
as if brushed
by a pale stroke
for this transitory
moment in time ...
INVISIBLE
I am forgotten,
bootless ...
I walk the streets
of the unrequited.
I am unacknowledged,
appreciated, not,
for I seek no reward.
A quiet entity,
calling no attention
unto myself.
Unobserved,
I watch
those who would
stand out in the crowd.
silently,
I seek to know them
only enough to avoid them
and to remain
beyond recollection.
SUCCULENCE
Silhouette in the window
Inciting curves
Enhancement
In shades of gray
On the flat canvas
Of curtain
To taste your treats
Would that they
Come alive
I shall paint your body
In the medium of saliva
I've a paintbrush
Behind my teeth
Clever tongue
Sixth digit and
Key to the treasury
Now cover your wanton
In weeds of modesty
Be something you are not
The truth lies in secret
Between me and your shadow
LIBERATOR
Under a street lamp,
within its sickly, yellow glow,
she found me starving.
Looking deeply into
my famished eyes,
"I'll feed you." she said,
"In return, you must feed me ...
what is it you're craving?"
I replied,
with digits twitching,
"I want to touch my fingers
to that translucent, milky shadow,
ahhhhh ...
just there ...
at the base of your throat,
where the pulse
beats like butterfly wings
against your thin, creamy skin
And I want to taste the death
from your lips ..."
ROAD KILL
Today,
while walking
along the highway,
I spied a young man
taking pictures of animals
that had been killed on the road.
and
thought of HER ...
that was the moment
I first noticed
the long, thin,
t

of drool dangling from my lower lip.
IMPOTENCE
She ...
She wraps her words around me
like a warm tortilla.
I want to eat her eyes
so I can see
(me)
the way she does.
Her volcanic verbs shoot
P...U...L...s...I...n...G
hot liquid through my veins
and
SHE causes me to lose all
ContRoL
over my bladder
and
I turn my red (face) to the shadows.
and
quickly s~l~i~n~k away.
If (i) were woman
and
SHE were man
this would not be unacceptable
male (frailty) weakness
but
demure beguiling femininity
I want to lie cradled in her semi-precious
metaphors!
INTREPID
Innocent wild child
loosed upon the world
looked in my direction
softly she smiled
her warm woman ways
tossed and tumbled
on sweet stormy waves
she gathers the days
at her dainty fingers
stirring a whirlpool
of dangerous emotion
yet she has not crossed the line
past the point of no return
but the ghost of danger still lingers
about my wild child ...
OBSCURITY GIRL
The games are unleashed
As your Winter Olympics begin
They seep into the air
Around you like water
Trying to appear nonchalant
With your hair in flames
And your ass on fire
Act casual! this is your forte ...
Discreet
Suggestions
Barely breathed
Subliminal direction
Floating flying fluctuating
Feather-touching
Slow undulating dance
Inaudibly spoken
Significant eloquent glance
Come hither scarves
Cunning and coy
Covering curvaceous coveted
Ankle shin hip thigh
Inciting riots of the psyche
Succulent seductress
Of pleasures untold
Taunting teasing
Temptress of testosterone!
CRISIS IN OZ
I watched him draw her in
With his easy ways
His trap closed around her
Tightly he clasped her inexperience
To his hungry chest
As greedily he sucked
The youth from her being
For a brief whisper
The middle age which ate upon his
mind
Was stilled into silence
By her sacrifice
Better to have snuffed her light
Burning brightly and quick
Than to have stolen her pearl ...
Look ...
Just there
DEEP
Where the churning
VOID
Meets
With the setting sun
Turning the waters
h*o*r*i*z*o*n
DARK
Bloody red
At its anticipated touch
Banishing shadows
From the eddy
Casting out all light ...
Morpheus
Cannot help me
FORGET ...
What once wise
Weaver spins
His thread,
Draws tightly his cloak
On this burning orb
Reality fades in
Rotation ...
DEAD SEAS
mindless coupling
groping in the dark,
begins the suffering
doth strand the heart
in pathos play.
frantic echoes
ensnare, entangle, enmesh
BEWARE
players of games,
become the games they play!
NOCTURNE
Countless dark windows
tiny black holes,
line the avenues I walk.
In silence we are linked
herein lies the reality ...
Alone ... yet she fills my mind
with all her resolve.
Where she leads,
the voyeur in me will follow ...
CRYSTALENA ASCENDING
Crystalena ...
Lingers in my thoughts
As a gentle haunting
Whisper of misty perfumed incense
Sweet devil childe
Unlike all the others ...
I play the tune of her body
Touch the keys of her psyche
Find fingerings and chordings
Reach for toeholds and pitons
Little twistings and turnings ...
Basking in her brooding melancholy
Migrant morbid meandering soul
I Drink in the spirit of her
Ambrosial vernal wine

Abeyance exists for me

SANCTUARY
Your mood is the language in which your body speaks to
mine.
Your heart is a perfect unblemished stone, beating in the
cavern of its syncopated isolation.
I beg hardly more of you than to scrabble forever along the
jagged cliffs of your emotions.
To bathe myself, palpably defenseless and exposed, in the
frosty moonlight of your acrid, acid, smiles.
Stripped beyond the marrow of the bone, to the naked
manifest purity of the white hot ashes of my tattered
and tortured soul.
For YOU, my deceased and decomposing treasure; are the
baleful, gleaming glance of the scaly-faced Basilisk.
Residing in the shadows of the saguaro cactus, in my
windswept desert rock garden.
!GIVE ME SANCTUARY!
CHEAT
With heavy mayhem
in sleep-deprived eyes,
she steals the beauty
in the art of the kill
with her careless dispatch.
Her thoughts are penned up,
fenced, and electrified,
with barbed wire glares.
The last vacancy of her heart
has been abandoned
by the frightened nomads
who had gathered there,
huddling against the storm.
SCHEHERAZADE
young woman dances
showing me her curious nature
she watches my reactions
to her ravenous invitations
her silky skirt clings
to my fingers and her
moistened desire awaits
sultry and impatient
for my rough touch
all along her submissive
passive aggressive boundaries
PASSAGE
Her body
Is
The vehicle
In
Which
I
Travel best
A
Journey
Of
A billion
forbidden
Sensations!
like burning embers
in my brain she inflames me
to consume her now

seeking to devour
her body and mind complete
feast on her juices

SPOILER
Long ago
Standing there
(Chalk)
Didactically in hand
Baby pink
Silk blouse
(Belted)
Straight black skirt
Tastefully tight
Long dark hair
(Spilling)
Down to touch
That secret place
At the back
Of her knees
(And)
In a young
Boy's mind
Only she
Could make
His erotic history
His first erection
Spotted by
Little red-haired girl
(Pointing)
Laughing loudly!
Stripped and skating across
the sex-slick sweat-soaked sheets
you are the succubus of my dreams
squirming in my avaricious arms
greedily devouring your lips
like candy kisses at carnival
I know in the end
this pollution
of body and spirit
will only make me ill
CONSORTIUM
Wormwood is the flavor
of your kamikaze kisses
Directing them at me like an invasion
they rain down upon my terrain
in an aerial attack
Blistering bombardment by bitterness
Once you were my heart's oasis
Now you are an evil blight
Bane, a pox upon my soul
From hotbed, to sickbed, to deathbed...
A bed of nails
I will not run the gauntlet with you!
DARK POSSESSION
from the moment he saw her,
he was lost.
he became disaster;
a cloaked and weighted thing,
dispossessed of himself,
perched and poised
upon the pit's brink.
she became a burning coal
in his twisted tortured mind,
sucking away his soul
in small, slivered increments,
one, fine razor-slice at a time.
he could not loose himself
from her wicked woman's touch
except to douse her fire.
it wasn't anything personal.
(it was) just the nature of the beast!
