Various issues of an undated magazine bound together under hardcovers, the hardcovers made out of heavy cardboard, is in G+ condition, having much foxing and surface and edge wear to cardboard covers; there has been an attempted repair to the book (no doubt an attempt to replace a missing spine) by placing binding tape over the missing spine--the words "Book Lore" have been printed in gilt on the tape; there is some shaking to sewn-binding most strongly noticed at the endpaper sections, and some of the interior pages show here and there growing gaps in the gutter; the edges are deckled, and the original magazines were published with partly uncut pages; there is some age-toning to pages and page edges. There is no date in the book, but it appears to date from about 1885. Illustrated with some engravings. A curious and entertaining collection of bibliophilic information, with reviews and a "Bibliophile's Kalendar," which presents the latest book news of the time. Literary criticism. Book collecting. Due to book's weight, extra shipping cost may apply. DB.…
