At times, past events are something we cannot run away from. For the Knights, that had been easily done, until one day it all changed..
Hope had been living a happy life, the perfect husband, four beautiful children, and parents that loved her. Then one day, a secret her mother had been keeping came into play, although it was just a story told to her mother, Emilia, as a child, it was a tale that would become a nightmare, but that was all they knew.
Evil flowed through their bloodline, and it was time to confront it. An ancient ancestor known as Jackal, had been sent away to a mythical prison that rested in an ancient castle. For centuries, his selected followers remained between realms in search of the ones he foresaw, the four that helped him and his sister Dianna. Had it been a dream? When his followers tracked down the Knights, his sister’s bloodline they knew it was time.
But what if the ones you surround yourself with had their own path to follow? What if the people you trusted most would betrayed you? That was something Hope would soon find out from the man she loved. But what?
When the perfect life comes crashing down, what steps would you be willing to take to protect the ones you love? Soon, Emilia and Hope will face that, yet at different moments of their lives. Hope prayed her children Rain, Phoenix, Heaven, and Drake would have what it takes to set right all the wrongs forced upon them. What kind of life was that to leave on the ones you cherished most? Without telling them who they really were?.
What had Hope done?
Rain, the eldest of his siblings, was the one that was left to take care of them all while trying to figure his own life out. He carried so much power inside, yet navigating a normal life seemed so foreign. How could he give in to the person he was meant to be? Maybe that was the key to what his true happiness was?
Phoenix always finds herself being the voice of reason. All she wanted in life was to follow the path of her true dreams, one with no magic but love and of course normalcy. But did her stance as the second born mean she was meant to be someone else? Someone that she may have never thought she would become?.
Heaven, carefree, yet ambitious to find her true self. Magic was always around her, but not in the same way as for her two older siblings, so she focused on other things. A whole world laid out before her, a normal one, making it so much easier to just go with the flow and not want for anything. But what would happen if that all changed?
Drake, the youngest, always felt like he was just there. How he longed to feel the touch of magic, to know what it would be like to have more meaning in life. He had parties, friends, and girls to pass the time. He felt as though there would be no true calling for him. How could there be if he was so different from his brother and sisters? But how different was he? Did he hold a stance just as important?
Soon all they knew would come crashing down, and they would each learn what stood before them. With evil at every corner and stumbling upon other magical beings of their family's past, how could the four of them not grasp the destiny passed down? Would each of them be able to find the path they were meant to take, or would they see the same end as the other Knights before?
All they could hope for was to find the answer to who they were in the Book of Knight. Maybe the four Knights would accept their calling and fulfill the tasks cursed upon them.
