This beautiful copy is bound in blue velvet with gold metal borders, gold metal crucifix on front cover, and gold metal calligraphic "Prayer" on spine, all edges gilt, functioning gold metal clasp on fore-edge, endsheets are reddish-purple velvet, glossy white patterned end-papers, beautiful chromolithographic frontis plate and title page with the original protective tissue-guards, 679 pages + 286-page Songs and Hymns section, the gold crucifix has a small area of tarnishing and the gilt edges show some mild rubbing, these flaws are minor, a wonderfully-preserved collector's copy ; Dark blue velvet binding with gold wire borders, measures 6 inches by 4 inches, mounted gold crucifix on front cover, and gold-wire "Prayer" on spine, velvet endsheets, all edges gilt, gold metallic clasp in fine working order, chromolithograph title page and frontis, an exquisite copy with a couple of minor flaws: the crucifix has a small tarnished area, some rubbing to the gilt on the bottom page-edge, we examined each and every page and the contents are in exceptional condition.
