Item description from seller

Illustrated by Rackham with color frontispiece and 5 other color plates; 12 additional black and white plates. 130 pages Slim 8vo, original black-lettered brown cloth with inset pictorial label, top edge gilt. Boston: Richard G. Badger, The Gorham Press, [1910]. Printed in London at The Ballantyne Press, this appears to be the first American edition in book form. Endpapers are darkened and there is some faint foxing on first and last several pages, still a very good(+) copy of this uncommon Rackham title. A charming story, originally published in the Little Folks magazine in 1900.
