BR1 Bogus Focus BR2 From Beer To Eternity BR3 Liminal Entity
BR1 Here we meet Dai Williams, a directionless idler and amateur philosopher who retreats from the world in every way possible and several that aren't. By losing focus with his surroundings, Dai discovers he can gaze into another dimension - but the skill is like all his other skills: of no obvious value. On the day a beautiful girl steps through a doorway from another reality, he gains something new: momentum. Soon he has acquired a mysterious bodyguard, uncovered an inter-dimensional betting scam and has accidentally stranded an earnest team of visiting alien art thieves.
BR2 After acquiring the wisdom of eternity from a pill, Dai heroically (and uncharacteristically) pitches in with his alien friends, the Vaneer, who are assailed by a mysterious illness. He sets out to rescue the oldest and wiliest Vaneer agent Dango Grosseswasser, aided by the lovely Tali Qua. Meanwhile, the Artificial Intelligence known as Gloolup Curiosum constructs an organic body and sets off on a quest of his own, but is captured and tortured by a virulent religion known only as the Hunt. This makes him rather miffed. It's a familiar tale of half-arsed philosophy, ambiguity, evolutionary point-scoring and alcohol consumption during which all of reality is rewritten at least once. Along the way are sexy robots, darkish-holes and petty gods with their own agendas, plus a few token female characters in search of better dialogue and less skimpy outfits.
BR3 Some kind of conclusion is clearly in order. However... Liminal Entity is the story of two men. One, Melton Phaedawae, is a serial underachiever, an apathetic, drunken human on the run from his past and unsure whether he even exists. The other is Ragnar, former Emperor of a whole galaxy, genius and ruthless tyrant with a thirst for knowledge and a dislike of heroes who constantly pester him. Weary from many trials and tribulations, Melton arrives at the planet Bolifero to face his final challenge, which he soon realises will take him to a place known as Ragnar's Rock. Aided by the mysterious wizard Fartsig and a band of local hippies, he has a sinking feeling he knows how it will all turn out.
These 3 volumes are gathered together for the first time, revised and updated (probably with fresh typos and dumb-ass mistakes) then trimmed to be the most coherent version yet. Much has remained untold. For now, at least.
"Nagle's writing has a hardboiled humour to it that brings to mind Harry Harrison's Stainless Steel Rat books, coupled with the warped worldview of Michael Marshall Smith – both of which are very good things in my view!" Guy Burt

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
