If you’re been considering altering facial or body features to improve your appearance, you are not alone. Every year, millions of Americans undergo cosmetic procedures to enhance their looks, boost their self-esteem, or just to feel more comfortable in social settings. Proper education and understanding will give you the ability to make wise decisions regarding your health and pursuit of beauty. Failure to be properly informed could lead to selecting the wrong physician or the wrong procedure; both of which could turn your cosmetic dreams into a nightmare.
In this book, Dr. Victor Ferrari reveals the most important considerations for patients interested in improving their appearance through body contouring procedures including how to select a qualified surgeon. He answers the essential questions that plastic surgery patients ask (or should ask) and uncovers the biggest mistakes that patients make and how to avoid them. He also offers valuable information on maintaining a healthy, attractive body and slowing down the aging process. So, before you undergo any type of body contouring procedure, you owe it to yourself to read this highly informative book. It may make the difference between a great result and a “botched” job.
Dr. Ferrari trained at some of the top surgical programs in the country and is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has dedicated his career to improving people’s lives through aesthetic transformation with natural-looking results. He is also a Fellow of the highly esteemed American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Multiple times he has received “Top Plastic Surgeon” and other “Top Surgeon” awards as well as several prestigious “Physician Recognition Awards” by the American Medical Association. He has spoken internationally at medical conferences and has appeared many times on television and radio shows discussing various topics related to plastic surgery. As the founder and owner of Premier Plastic Surgery Center, he has helped well over 10,000 cosmetic patients fulfill their beauty goals. In addition, his passion to improve the lives of others has led him to volunteer to serve on international medical mission trips to Central America and Africa in order to provide relief for many impoverished patients with genetic deformities, traumatic injuries, or extensive burn scars.
