- Book 2 of 2: The Undertaker Series
An old man dies in an assisted living facility, and the undertaker is the first to arrive—hoping for an easy payday.
Instead, a psychic insists the death was no accident.
The undertaker does the responsible thing and informs the sheriff’s department. They dismiss him immediately.
Which leaves him with only one option: solve the case himself.
Yvgeny—undertaker, opportunist, and devoted student of Sherlock Holmes—is certain he’s more capable than the detectives anyway.
With help from a retired police chief, a questionable doctor, and his chain-smoking girlfriend, he inserts himself into an investigation that quickly spirals beyond his control.
Because solving a murder is difficult.
Letting Yvgeny handle it may be worse.
A darkly comedic mystery featuring an unforgettable antihero and a case that refuses to stay simple.
