Paperback. At Aethercrest Academy, the night hides more than secrets. After proving herself in the brutal vampire training grounds, Lyra thought the worst danger she faced was surviving her classes. But when a strange skeletal footprint appears in the forest and a terrifying creature begins watching the academy from the shadows, it becomes clear that something ancient has awakened.Creatures long believed to be extinct are returning. Creatures that should not exist. As Lyra and Riven begin searching for answers, they uncover fragments of a forgotten prophecy-one that speaks of Bone Sentinels, the rise of the Hollow Court, and a war that once nearly destroyed both vampires and elves. But the deeper they dig, the more unsettling the truth becomes.Because the creatures in the forest may not be hunting the academy. They may be hunting Lyra. And if the prophecy is true, she may be the one thing powerful enough to start the war. or end it. This item is printed on demand.
