Dr. K. Mathiyazhagan is a Professor & Head of Research Centre at Thiagarajar School of Management, with over 10 years of research and teaching experience. Listed among Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists, with 7000+ citations Assistant/Associate Editor in Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Business Strategy and the Environment and Journal of Knowledge Management. Active reviewer in 30+ International journals. Published extensively in top-tier journals and recipient of the Excellence Citation Award, Top Cited Article and Best Paper awards. Edited international books on Blockchain, Lean-Green, and Society 4.0. Actively collaborates with global universities, including Roma TRE University, Italy, and Nottingham Trent University, UK. Secured multiple research grants which include AICTE ATAL FDPs. Research interests: Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Circular Economy, Lean Six Sigma, and Multi-Criteria Decision Making. V. Raja Sreedharan is a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Llandaff, Wales, United Kingdom. Previously he worked as a Lecturer at the School of Management, University of Bradford, UK. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering and Master in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, India. He is a certified Six Sigma green belt. He has published his works in peer-reviewed journals, and his current research interests focus on managing the VUCA in business operations. His works are focused on the productivity paradox and process improvement for industries to achieve sustainable business outcomes. He gained his corporate exposure working with Apollo Hospital as an external auditor for 5S implementation and spearheading the operations for the entire southern region in Tamil Nadu, India. He also worked as a process engineer in VOLVO Buses for lean projects. Later, he worked with the apparel manufacturer in Morocco for French fashion brands on projects related to the process of ambiguity in the in-house supply chain. He was also associated with the Société Nationale des Transports et de Logistique to understand the VUCA in the inbound supply chain for circular business models. Currently, he is working on carbon neutrality for essential commodities from an operational perspective using emerging technologies in the VUCA world.
Dr. Deepak Mathivathanan is the Co-Editor, Management Matters, an Emerald publishing journal & an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management @LIBA. He is a Supply chain and Industrial engineering professional, Black belt in lean six sigma with over 9 years of teaching experience in operations management and facilitating supply chain projects, 8 years of research experience in the field of data driven decision making in supply chain management in automotive component manufacturing with 2 years of industrial experience in 2D & 3D modeling. His expertise include Supply chain sourcing, network design, capacity planning and optimization. He is trained towards continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and data driven quality tools with an academic background of Production engineering at bachelor level, Industrial engineering at master’s level and with a doctorate in Sustainable Supply Chain Management with an automotive industry perspective.
Prof. Vijaya Sunder M is currently an Assistant Professor at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India. Previously, he was the Head of Business Process Excellence at the World Bank Group. Vijaya holds a Ph.D. in Operational Excellence from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, MBA from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and a gold medalist in Bachelor of Engineering from the Anna University.
He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, PMP, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Lead Auditor, and Lean Facilitator, with about 15 years of industry experience across global corporate that include Citi, American Express, Barclays and the World Bank. He has led and mentored various process improvement and transformation programs that helped improve both top-line and bottom-line impact across reputed service firms.
His research and teaching interests include Operational Excellence, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Quality Management, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 in manufacturing and service sectors (especially services).
Vijaya has authored two books and published more than 40 research papers in several reputed outlets, including the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Technovation, International Journal of Production Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting & Social Change etc. Teaching case studies authored by him have been published in Harvard Business Education Publishing. Prof. Sunder M has been serving as the editorial advisory board member of the International Journal of Lean Six Sigma, and a reviewer for >20 international journals. He actively writes in national and international media, including Forbes, Fortune, The Business Times Singapore, Outlook India, Quint, The New Indian Express, The Hindu, The Hindu Business Line, and The Future Factory.
He has been recognized with Walter E. Masing Book Award 2020 for his book Ten Commandments of Lean Six Sigma by Emerald Publishing and honored as a thought leader in the global quality management community by the International Academy for Quality. His other book, Lean Six Sigma in Banking Services, has received several appreciations from recognized quality management practitioners in the industry. He has been bestowed with the Highly Commended Paper Award 2017 and Outstanding Reviewer Award 2018 by Emerald Publishing (Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence). Further, he was conferred with the Best Researcher Award (IITM Institute Research Award for highest quality and quantity of research productivity) by IIT Madras in 2018, Bharat Vikas Award 2019 (for outstanding contributions in the field of Quality Management) by the Institute of Self-Reliance, approved by Human Resources Development Ministry, Government of India. Recently, the Indian School of Business recognized Prof. Sunder M as the Professor of the Year 2021.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to BuchWeltWeit Ludwig Meier e.K., Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
