This 17th-century treatise by English Puritan theologian John Howe offers a rigorous, biblical defense of the idea of eternal life. Drawing on a range of scriptural sources, Howe argues that only by placing our faith in God's promise of everlasting life can we find true peace and joy amid the hardships of our temporal existence.
