Add to basketA scarce fourth edition of Black's Guide to the Channel Islands, with maps and illustrations. Fourth edition. Scarce edition. Illustrated with frontispiece and eighteen additional illustrations, some of which are full-page. Collated complete. Black's Guides were travel guide books from the Adam and Charles Black publishing house. They intended these guides to be colloquial and easier to follow than those of their competitors. Edited by David Thomas Ansted, an English geologist and author. With Black's Guide Book Advertiser to the rear. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading tot he spine and the odd mark to the board. Hinges tender but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Very Good.
