A generic printing without a year published, circa 1955 as there is a gift dedication with that date on fep. No illustrator credited, frontispiece that matches the DJ art, plus four other full page black line drawings in the text. Nice unclipped (unpriced) dust jacket has some light chipping along upper edge, still displays well and is super rare in the dust wrapper. 188 pp text is crisp and clean. Re-affixed frontis makes the first three pages lay weird, all pages secure and holding fine. A truly uncommon edition of this classic story. Seller Inventory # 47036
