Printed red, yellow and black, ruled with gilt ornaments. Text in English. 137 × 215 mm. Bláthy's chess composition "White to play and mate in 10 moves", and his and Mrs. Bláthy's Christmas greetings on recto. With the solution of the problem on the verso. Ottó Titusz Bláthy (1860-1939) was a Hungarian electrical engineer, the co-inventor of the alternating current "ZBD" transformer in 1885 (ZBD comes from the initials of the inventor's names: Károly Zipernowsky, Otto Bláthy and Miksa Déri), the coiner of the word "transformer".
