A bit musty, edges foxed, jacket edges rubbed with minor loss from corners, jacket toned, jacket price clipped, set of color slides from Kirtland's Warbler Management Program laid in. xxvi, 435 pp. Numerous beautifully designed color plates reproduced from the elephant folio edition of Audubon's masterwork, the original printing of which is among the most valuable books ever sold. "John James Audubon (April 26, 1785 - January 27, 1851) was a French-American ornithologist, naturalist, hunter, and painter. He painted, cataloged, and described the birds of North America in a form far superior to what had gone before.
