Item description from seller

pp. viii, 573, (i). Occasional text figure. Dust wrapper, scattered library stamps in lower margins, an otherwise bright copy scarcely used. *Based upon the Wenner Gren Conference in Austria in 1964, the papers in this volume have been rewritten, and the introductory chapter now gives much of the discussion that took place at the time. It may be regarded as a companion volume to Harrison, Weiner, Tanner and Barnicot's 'Human Biology'. The reprint here offered has a number of corrections and includes a new chapter by F. L. DUNN on the biology of man in South-East Asia.
