La for�t de r�serve de Chapredi est situ�e au nord du district de Kachchh. Cette r�serve foresti�re repr�sente une for�t �pineuse tropicale unique avec une grande diversit� faunistique. Dans la pr�sente �tude, l'accent a �t� mis sur les esp�ces de mammif�res et sur la composition et la structure de la v�g�tation ligneuse. Au cours de la pr�sente �tude, un total de 12 esp�ces de plantes ligneuses ont �t� signal�es dans la FR de Chapredi de Bhuj Takula. Parmi les 12 esp�ces ligneuses recens�es, 5 sont des arbres et 7 appartiennent � la forme de vie des arbustes. La for�t mixte d'�pineux repr�sente la plus grande diversit� d'esp�ces ligneuses, suivie par la for�t d'acacias. La for�t de Prosopis repr�sente la plus faible diversit� d'esp�ces ligneuses dans la FR de Chapredi. Les mammif�res de la FR de Chapredi ont �t� �tudi�s sur deux sites et deux saisons. Sur la base d'observations directes et de preuves indirectes, un total de 9 esp�ces de mammif�res appartenant � 8 familles et 9 genres a �t� enregistr�. 540 preuves indirectes de 9 esp�ces ont �t� enregistr�es. Quatre esp�ces d'herbivores, deux esp�ces de carnivores, une esp�ce de granivores et une esp�ce d'omnivores et de frugivores ont �t� enregistr�es.
