He has been active in the field of carbon materials, their properties and applications for almost 30 years and has co-authored more than 190 publications.

Carlo Rosso is an associate professor of machine design at Politecnico di Torino. His research topics are related to the fatigue and dynamic design of components and the metal replacement philosophy. He has 60 publications and four patents.

Mauro Giorcelli is a researcher in the Material and Science Technology Department at Politecnico di Torino. He is a co-founder of Carbon Group and he has more than 10 years' experience in carbon materials and carbon-based composites. He has more than 80 publications and more than 700 citations.
