Billy Joel Complete – Volume 1 is a piano vocal guitar songbook featuring 57 songs from the early years of Billy Joel’s career, including material from his first five albums and Cold Spring Harbor. Published by Hal Leonard in the Piano Vocal Guitar Artist Songbook series, this collection is designed for pianists, singers, and guitarists who want a substantial selection of Joel’s best known songs and key album tracks in one volume.
This softcover book presents songs in standard notation with vocal melodies, lyrics, and chord symbols for guitar accompaniment. The PVG format makes it suitable for solo playing, singing with piano, or guitar supported performance, while the clear layout supports practice, rehearsal, and live use.
The collection includes signature songs and deeper cuts that reflect Billy Joel’s mix of piano ballads, rock songs, and storytelling writing. It is a practical repertoire book for learning, performing, or gifting to fans of classic pop rock.
