nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A spark of wonder, a voyage that tests humanity. The Big Fix invites you to step into a golden age of space opera, where every leap across the void carries a weight of ethics as heavy as the hull. This is a persuasive, accessible stellar adventure that balances brisk, page-turning plot with themes that linger: grappling with technological choices, the risks of interstellar exploration, and the quiet intrigue of alien contact. Set in a mid twentieth century frame, it feels like a classic science fiction tale that whispers of Isaac Asimov inspired works while standing firmly in its own pulsing history. Read as a science fiction story within a space opera tale, it speaks to both seasoned science fiction readers and curious newcomers alike. This volume belongs to a broader technologic ethics collection, offering crisp reflections alongside breath-taking escapades, never sacrificing human focus for gadgetry. This edition matters: out of print for decades and now republished by Alpha Editions, restored for today's and future generations. More than a reprint - a collector's item and a cultural treasure. For casual readers and classic-literature collectors, The Big Fix is a portal to pulp era complete collection reverence and the enduring thrill of a golden age setting, a nod to 1940s american science fiction, and a reminder why we read science fiction in the first place. …
