Neuware - In this modern age and time in the United States of America, we are blessed above measure in that we have abundance, when compared to the earthly possessions of our ancestors and forefathers. Has this caused arrogance and a striving for self to subtly lead us to forget the teachings and humble example of Jesus Do we in our modern times know the meaning of Biblical Humility What is Biblical Humility and can our modern society embrace Gods Truth The words of Jesus are the life of the church. So what did Jesus say In Hebrews 4:1-2, it was written that Jesus is the final and last day spokesman, above the prophets, and apostles of time past. In every situation, the words of Jesus have to take precedence, for those who truly believe his mission as given to his followers to 'go you therefore and teach all nations.' Or as in Mark's words; 'preach the gospel,' and as told by Luke; 'repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem.' What does grace teach It teaches a sober and responsible life style which does not defy the word of God in any way. It teaches humility and purity, as well as separation from ungodliness and worldly lusts. Grace also teaches us that we are God's treasured people and we should be zealous of good works. Ronald Drown provides his in-depth study notes, in his new book Biblical Humility and Modern Grace, an in-depth word study into biblical references regarding, humility, grace and the law. If you are a seeker of Truth, and believe God's word is our road map, you will appreciate the arguments and view he presents, in these times of lawlessness and modern grace. Ron's findings at times have a tendency to upset the prevailing, modern view, and trends, and for all of this, we are left to wonder just how accurate some of our theology truly is. If you are a seeker of Truth, and have a heart to know the Word of God, you will appreciate the depth of research that went into the writing of this book of study notes, filled with scriptural references.…
