Paperback. Michael A. Hildreth explains the Biblical basis for Nonviolent Communication in this brief, handy guide to using a language of love and compassion. Inspired by the writings of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg in his original work, "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life", Hildreth explains many pertinent examples of how these principles are taught and demonstrated in Scripture. This book will assist the reader to implement Rosenberg's approach in a way that is also conscious of Jesus Christ's superb teaching and example of gracious speech. Topics include making observations (not evaluations), taking responsibility for feelings, making requests, receiving empathically, expressing anger fully, and expressing and receiving appreciation. A full bibliography of Bible references is also included. Michael A. Hildreth lives in Texas and operates Marriage Ranger Ministries. This item is printed on demand.
