Blue boards with raised textured pattern. No titles. Hardback. Verso of front free endpaper inscribed 'Bettie Nelson Edwards April 21st 1880'. 54 pages of bible clocks, hand-drawn and hand-written. Contents page giving the selected word for each page. Nr FINE condition. Each clock features a single word from the bible (eg: Wisdom) there is then a quote containing this word above and below the clock, and then each segment of the clock (The 12 hours) has different quotes containing this word with the bible reference above each quote. Each clock has the time at the centre (a drawing of a clock face with hands indicating the time) but each clock is at 12.20! Why? An amazing labour of love, very neat tiny writing to each segment but completely legible. I assume that this was some form of Bible study excercise but I am open to suggestions. As to value. I really have no idea, I would imagine there are not many of these about! Offers? Have put a silly price so feel free to ignore it.
