Item description from seller
Bharathiyar is hailed as the poet nonpareil of the 20th century. His writings were multifaceted and spoke of freedom for the country, economic freedom, social freedom, women’s freedom, and liberation of the soul. His world-vision transcended geographical boundaries, with a compassion that embraced all living beings, their potential and wisdom. This book speaks extensively and deeply about Bharathi’s political and literary life between the years 1905 and 1911. T.M.C. Raghunathan places under honest and careful scrutiny anything written or spoken about Bharathi.
