nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A personal and heartfelt narrative chronicling the trials and tribulations of living with continuously worsening muscular dystrophy. Details of a lifelong journey are paralleled with a short term and gritty account of a semi-fictional accidental event. Told in a comparative and inspiring way, both stories portray acceptance, endurance, and perseverance and the resiliency of the human spirit in dealing with and overcoming life's challenges. This book insightfully describes some of the everyday realities of living and coping with a debilitating disease in an attempt to raise awareness and understanding.
