BEYOND THE SILVER MOON
She came West to find her father. She never expected to find her heart.
Sheila Burnett has always believed in civilization, order, and the rule of law. So when her beloved father goes missing in the rugged Colorado boomtown of Elkhorn, she's utterly unprepared for the untamed world she rides into - and even less prepared for the man everyone warns her about.
Caleb Marlowe is a legend on the frontier. Lightning-quick with a rifle, cool under fire, and impossible to read, he's the kind of man who makes women cross to the other side of the street - and then turn around to look. He came to Elkhorn to build something quiet and lasting, to leave the shadows of his past behind. The last thing he needs is a sharp-tongued Eastern woman with fire in her eyes and no patience for the way things work out here.
But Doc Burnett is Caleb's only friend in the world, and when ruthless outlaws trap him deep in the mountain wilderness, Caleb will ride into hell itself to bring him home.
As danger closes in and the Colorado wilderness stretches wild and beautiful around her, Sheila begins to see past Caleb's guarded silence to the honorable, wounded man beneath. And Caleb finds himself fighting a battle he never trained for - the battle to keep his heart.
Beyond the Silver Moon is a sweeping historical western romance full of breathtaking Colorado mountain scenery, pulse-pounding adventure, and a slow-burn love story between two people who couldn't be more different - and couldn't be more perfect for each other.
Reimagined Western Romance, expanded from the original Caleb Marlowe series, previously published by Sourcebooks.
