In this modern era, many individuals find themselves spiritually thirsty and dry, not truly knowing their God. Faith in God must be accepted with a clear mind and a receptive heart.
It is incredibly difficult to obtain knowledge about God and the attributes inherent to Divinity. Fundamentally, every individual yearns for God, but when this yearning does not find the right knowledge and understanding, it will certainly lead to errors in faith. Mistaking the path to God or believing in a creature as God is something that can be accepted neither by reason nor by faith.
It is impossible for attributes inherent to creation to be attached to God, and a clear mind will reject this. Religious doctrines that eliminate reason in believing in God are very dangerous.
This book serves as an introduction to knowing God. We will be introduced to the law of reason, the law of custom, and the law of Shari'ah as a foundation for knowing God and the attributes inherent to Divinity, so that the mind and heart will accept them with clarity.
And in this book, we will be introduced to how we can truly achieve ma'rifat (knowing) Allah. And how can our conviction or belief in Him become firm and unshakable in an age full of questions?
Often we hear, or even experience for ourselves, complex questions, such as:
Regarding Destiny and Free Will (Ikhtiar): How do we reconcile the concept of predestination with human freedom to choose? If all matters have been determined, does that mean that evil/sinful acts also originate from Allah? And does man truly have free will?
Regarding Science and Faith: There is a view that says God is the ""universal intelligence that fills empty space" whose form is the quantum field. Does a scientific discovery like the Higgs boson automatically prove such a concept of God?
Regarding Prayer and Energy: What is the Islamic view on the theory that prayer is answered through the frequency vibrations of our thoughts? Can this concept be aligned with the way God answers prayers?
Well, this concise book invites us all to learn together about the foundation of faith, the Science of Tauhid, which can provide answers to these questions. Its content discusses the 50 Articles of Faith (Aqoid Khomsin), meaning the 50 main beliefs that must be known by every believer. The details are the 20 Obligatory Attributes for Allah, 20 Impossible Attributes, 1 Permissible Attribute, and also the attributes for the Messengers.
The language used in this book is designed to be easily understood, as if we were listening to a sermon or advice directly. Not rigid, but straightforward and touching the heart. It is equipped with examples from daily life so that this science of monotheism is not just for memorization, but can be felt and practiced.
Come, let us together strengthen our conviction and purify our hearts by knowing who our God truly is.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
