Each day you're faced with which cut to choose, how much to buy, how to cook it. Meat is money, too, so learn to shop the meat case wisely. If it's steak you're buying, know which type and how thick. If the budget is at low ebb, remember there's a world of good eating in bargain buysâ and the food value is exactly the same. Meat is likely to be the part of the meal you have the most questions about. That's why Better Homes and Gardens is bringing you a Meat Cook Book. We feel fortunate to have had Thora Hegstad Campbell, well-known home economist and meat specialist, help us compile the Better Homes and Gardens information. You'll find our book packed with more than 400 recipesâ each rated excellent by our Tasting Test Kitchen staff. Along with easy, skip-a-step recipes, there are family favoritesâ elegant entrees for company. Dozens of glamour photographs show you ways to serve meat attractively. How-to pictures help you zip through special techniques. We hope as you thumb the pages of this Meat Cook Book, you'll get inspiration to serve a different meat every day."
